The Association of Community Human Service Agencies (ACHSA), with beginnings dating back to 1955, today represents more than 85 nonprofit community agencies that provide a wide range of child welfare, mental health, and juvenile justice services for vulnerable individuals and families in Los Angeles County.
The ACHSA logo represents the integration of the human service delivery systems serviced by the Association’s member agencies on multiple levels:
ACHSA member agencies service individuals in three primary critical human service areas – child welfare, mental health, and juvenile justice.
ACHSA member agencies provide an array of quality human services to all age groups – children, transition-age youth, adults, and older adults.
ACHSA member agencies provide multi-cultural services delivered by multi-lingual staff to meet the unique needs of communities throughout the County.
ACHSA member agencies stand united in providing integrated, geographically linked, and accessible human service programs which meet the full range of needs of individuals, families, and communities.
